Angela Sims

Angela is an experienced Chief Executive and Company Director of award winning organisations, creating dynamic cultural change. Angela has a professional background in management, personnel, marketing and research and has been working in the field of organisational change for the last 20 years.

Working with Chief Executives, Chairmen and Directors, as a mentor and performance coach she also supports organisations as a trouble-shooter trustee to sort out difficult issues balanced with teaching the ability to think outside the box and to enthuse others to challenge the status quo.

With her Henley Management College MBA dissertation she tackled the perennial problem of how culture hinders or encourages organisational change. This followed a Post Graduate Research Diploma from Brighton University where her analytical skills were honed. She also has a Diploma in Marketing and is a member of the Institute of Personnel Development.

Much of her career has been as a pioneer ......starting with being the first Voluntary Transport Broker in the country. This resulted in Angela speaking at major Conferences and events in the USA on the UK Integrated Transport experience and how to influence Politicians and Ministers. She has been involved in pioneering approaches and the designing of new services and organisational structures, with extensive experience assisting Chief Executives in local authorities and on major housing projects.

Angela has also produced dramatic results with Directors, Managers at all levels, and teams in International organisations in the public sector, using the Key confrontations technologies to create sustainable outstanding performance. As an accomplished Speaker she regularly facilitates the development of innovative techniques in Leadership at large group events.

Angela is a Trustee of the West Sussex Youth Enterprise and a Non Executive Director of the Chichester Festival Theatre.
